In December 1993, Michael released a video statement from Neverland Ranch in response to his first battle against allegations of child molestation. In the video, he detailed information on how horribly he'd been treated through a body search which he was not allowed to refuse.

I was eight years old when this statement was released, and I remember watching it on TV. I didn't really understand what was going on, but I knew Michael was completely humiliated and it was upsetting for me to see.

While probably a majority of viewers felt some kind of satisfaction over his pain, or were simply mocking his looks alone and calling him a "freak" or "weirdo," I sat at home and just saw a broken man. A human being subjected to humiliating treatment.

Please do not start a debate in comments over anything related to the backstory of this image. If any crap starts, I'll disable the ability to reply.

You captured his eyes perfectly :heart: I wasn't even born when these allegations first came out and thought he was guilty on the second allegations (because my dad and friends said so, I didn't understand), but not anymore :)

Wow, those eyes jump off the page! Great work. I always feel for Michael when I see photos of him during this tv announcement he did. I remember seeing it back in the early 90s. I was about 14 years old, and Michael was my world. I never believed he was guilty. Like you, I didn't fully understand it either, all I knew was that it was sad, and Michael was hurting. God bless him, may he rest in peace.

That looks amazing. Incredibly detailed, he looks exactly as he did in the video. I saw it too, I had turned nine that year. My mom told me what had happened, but I didn't fully understand. Anyway, sad, yet awesome piece.

I love you and your beautiful piece of him, as a fan i can understands all you said here. That was so bad time in his life, he was totally hurted by selfish and bad people, and all tabloids. When this statement realeased i was 3 years old girl, didnt know who is he. After a long time when i saw that video in 2008, i cried alot, its breaks me. But i know he was so strong, i am alaways by his side, Michael was an angel and father for all childrens, all the people were so lucky who got to met him.....I am happy for them. And we all fans are more lucky to have his beautiful and precious music and memories..<3 :)
i am speechless to see ur work, his eyes just so lively. Oh God ! You are a great artist and fan, He bless you.
